11 Aug 2016 Konnekt installs Videophone at the Yooralla Independent Living Centre:

Australians with an elderly or disabled relative are now able to see the Konnekt Videophone in action and receive a hands-on demonstration from staff at ILC Victoria’s new Braybrook display centre.

Following the successful evaluation and trial of Videophone by reseller UTS at ILC Queensland’s LifeTec display centre in Brisbane, Konnekt received requests from customers in Melbourne’s west wishing to try out the video communication device.

Our partnership with ILC in Victoria positions Videophone as an appliance more vital than the family landline for reducing the loneliness of those with a disability — Karl Grimm, CEO Konnekt Pty Ltd.

Konnekt’s incredibly simple video phone can help those with a physical or mental impairment to stay in touch with friends and family, face-to-face, as often as they like, without worrying about call costs. The extra-simple user interface, LARGE screen, BIG buttons, extra LOUD volume and resistive touch-screen make Videophone ideal for those with a sight or hearing impairment, shaky hands, restricted movement or learning difficulties.

Jo, Jane, Susan, Sarah and the wider team at ILC Victoria suggested design and installation improvements that we’ve already taken on board, and the ComTEC team were instrumental in getting us networked for great picture and sound — John Nakulski, Konnekt Marketing Director.

Contact your closest ILC to try Videophone and learn how it helps the social isolated, or contact Konnekt.
